Our governments have a great deal of responsibility and even though we are not at the place where all governments around the world are doing what’s in the best interest of citizens everywhere, the narrative that somehow we have to lose ourselves and our responsibilities because we have governments or we voted to form one is a dangerous narrative.
We risk creating monsters out of our governments by increasingly giving them the sense that we can’t live our lives without stepping in.
Once we chip away our freedoms so we can enjoy being taken care of by politicians, we are embarking on a journey of no return.
